Our client, based in Liverpool, is looking for experienced CNC Programmer Operators. They are a well-respected family-owned company. Since the company was formed in 1982, we have been a leading supplier of reinforced branch fittings for piping and pressure vessel applications in the Oil and Gas Industries.

Operating on a shift basis (alternate weeks)
- 6 am-2 pm Monday-Friday
- 2 pm-11 pm Monday-Thursday
- 2 pm-6 pm Friday

Requirements:
- A proven ability to manufacture parts using CNC Lathes and CNC Machining Centres on Mazak and Moriseiki machines or similar.

Job Description:
Brief Description / Purpose of the function:
Responsible for the daily running of the factory, managing Process Performance, People, Machines, Materials Methods and Measurement of Performance and Improvement. The Production Manager adds value by leading an effective Lean Management System that continuously improves performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP).
The main areas of responsibility are as follows but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of all areas of manufacturing activities.

Hours:

- Complete relevant ‘start-up’ & ‘close-down’ processes as identified within the department.
- Ensure consistent quality of parts produced.
- Be proactive in ensuring work has all the necessary tooling to avoid downtime.
- Ensure all work and raw materials in your area are correctly identified with the relevant paperwork.
- Carry out machine or process changeovers where requested.
- Assist with production machining when not involved with setting or supervisory duties.
- Assist with stocking and selection of tooling/cutters.
- Communicate efficiently with other team members and work as part of a team.
- Communicate any issues, breakdowns to the Manufacturing Manager, Maintenance and/or other supervision, in person, via email or communication book.

Qualification / Cards:
- HNC in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in CNC machining operations, with a strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operation

The role of the Mechanical Contracts Manager will be pivotal to our client's ongoing growth and success. The role

Main Duties and Responsibilities
As an Operations Manager within the Maintenance Division, you will be expected to promote best practice. The main duties and responsibilities include:
- I oversee all live mechanical projects ongoing within the business, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with agreed standards, specifications, and drawings while maximising profitability.
- Regularly visit live sites to interact positively with our site and client teams.
- Monitor and mentor the Contracts Managers and Supervisors
- Provide training and monitor training plans for all managers and supervisors
- Assist contract managers with the preparation of contract reviews.
- Chair monthly contract review meetings
- Assist contracts managers, pre-construction manager, and store team with project procurement.
- Identify and implement more efficient ways of carrying out company processes.
- When required, actively advertise, identify and recruit new personnel
- Ensure project accounts (valuations, variations, payments, final accounts, etc.) are kept current.
- Assess and sign off sub-contractor monthly valuations/payment notices
- Work closely with the QS department to monitor cash flow and sales forecasts and accurately project profit and loss forecasts.
- Identify new supply chain partners, including labour-only sub-contractors, specialised contractors and general suppliers.
- Build existing client relationships and try to identify and secure new clients.
- Take a keen interest in the other division of the business.
- Actively promote Irwin M & E within the industry.

Air Conditioning Engineer – Norwich
We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established company.
Due to a sustainable increase in workload, we are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established Air Conditioning team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a well-established company helping to deliver Planned Preventative maintenance, Servicing and Installation projects, working in various sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Defence and Research, servicing clients’ requirements throughout the Eastern Region and neighbouring counties.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Air Conditioning Manager. They will liaise directly with our clients and must ensure they always represent the business in a proud and professional manner.
The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years’ experience after completing the apprenticeship, including modifying, fault finding, and installing different types of Air Conditioning systems in both commercial and industrial environments.
Contracted work hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 15:30 hrs, with occasional weekend working and overtime as required by the company. There may also be a requirement to work away on occasion.
Terms and Conditions, including Wage Rates and annual leave, will align with the BESA National Agreement.
A fully expensed Company Vehicle will also be provided for work use. You must be able to work individually, as part of a team, and without supervision on occasions, using your own initiative and demonstrating a good knowledge and understanding of the H&S requirements. Paperwork must be produced correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out the Installation, service, and repair of various Air Conditioning systems and installations, such as Split, Multi-Split, VRV/VRF, Chillers, and Vent Systems.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- FGAS 2079 - (Essential)
- CSCS/ECS card – Eligibility essential - (Already holds preferable, but training can be provided)
- Knowledge & experience in the industrial and commercial industry
- IPAF and PASMA – (Desirable)
- Fire Aid – (Desirable, but training can be given)
