Job Summary:

Our client, based in Basingstoke, is seeking a skilled Welder to join their team in constructing and assembling metal structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Duties:

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques
• Perform stick welding and operate hand and power tools effectively
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
• Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and layouts

Skills:

• Proficient in sheet metal fabrication and welding processes
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
• Experience with stick welding techniques
• Competent in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork tasks
