Role Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-end Cat B fitout for a superior client located in Mayfair. This project consists of 8 levels of Cat B installation, including underfloor ventilation systems, trench heating/cooling, VRF systems, public health services to tea point and hub areas, and specialist CDP packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the client team to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Deliver sample areas of fit-out for client approval.
  • Gain client confidence and ensure a complete understanding of project areas in readiness for project commencement.
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for all aspects of project management.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budget and resources effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering high-end fit-out projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and building services, particularly in the context of commercial fit-outs.
  • Experience working with high-end clients and delivering projects to their satisfaction.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
