Salary: up to £50 000 + bonus

Job Description:

Technical Expertise & Completion of Quotes

  • Technically proficient in all of the following renewable technologies:
    • Air Source Heat Pumps
    • Solar PV
    • Solar Thermal
    • Battery Storage
    • Electric Vehicle Charging
  • Complete pre-qualification on enquiries
  • Timely, accurate quoting and follow-ups
  • Liaise with heat loss surveyors and structural engineers
  • Site surveys
  • Issuing of design and facility drawings
  • Solar PV reports showing plans of roofs, outputs, etc
  • Reviewing new renewable technologies and being aware of market changes
  • Ensuring correct MCS paperwork issued
  • Managing and training of the sales engineers
  • Weekly and monthly reporting 

Tendering Documents

  • Handle all tenders sourced by management & completion within given time frames
  • Follow up with relevant tender stakeholders
  • Investigate new tender platforms and opportunities 

Preferred Supplier List

  • Review and create a preferred supplier list
  • Negotiate discounts, consignment stock, lead times, etc

CRM & Projection Spreadsheet

  • Optimise and manage the use of CRM for existing and new clients and other categories
  • Manage the updating of manufacturer portals
  • Handover of won projects operations team including projection spreadsheet

General Duties

  • Professional & personable communication with all clients, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Building a sales and technical team
  • Entertainment as required

Qualification / Cards:

  • Min 5 years of technical sales experience
  • 2 years of CRM Experience
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Products
  • Proficient understanding of AutoCAD Drawings
  • Knowledge of Zoho CRM (not essential)

Additional Information:

  • Full-time, on-site (no remote working) and permanent vacancy
  • Holiday – 28 days per year including all bank holidays
  • Annual base salary: up to £50 000
  • Bonus payable on reaching targets
  • Pension: Govt. Pension Scheme
  • Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
  • Immediate start
