Job Description:

We are recruiting for Sprinkler Project Managers on a UK-wide basis to work on a major project. You will be expected to travel extensively, although the client’s UK base is in the Midlands.

Base locations considered include: Birmingham, Black Country, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham.

Person Specification:

  • Positive can-do attitude
  • A good working knowledge of BS5839
  • Minimum 3 years’ of industry experience
  • UK driving license – no more than 3 points
  • Good fault-finding skills
  • Must be willing to travel across the Midlands & overlapping with other regions when required
  • Starting salary dependent on experience

Qualifications – Desirable:

  • FIA courses
  • First Aid
  • ECS
  • IPAF
  • IOSH
  • Asbestos Awareness

Duties will include:

  • The servicing and installation of fire alarm systems to the latest standards – mostly Gent / Advanced / Kentec / Notifier
  • Maintaining records & completing company forms electronically
  • Smoke vents service & remedial works
  • Emergency lights service & remedial works
  • Access control service & remedial works
  • CCTV service & remedial works
  • Intruder alarm service & remedial works
  • Small works and installation

On Call Rota:

  • National coverage 1 week in 8 first on call
  • Second on-call same frequency – very quiet
  • On-call allowance paid for both first and second on-call
