We are looking for an Estimator/Senior Estimator to join our pre-construction team based at our Pre-construction offices in Derby.

Location: Derby

Duration: Permanent Role – Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm.

Start Date: Asap

Salary: £40K- £60K DOE

Duties of the role:

• Take personal responsibility for ultimately pricing a tender/negotiated opportunity in sufficient time to meet the known internal and external deadlines and to enable a successful outcome.
• Review all preliminary documentation, including drawings, specifications, preambles and initial details to understand the scope and complexity of the proposed project. Ensure that all cost implications are highlighted and incorporated into the tender price.
• Provide cost plans and budgets for Clients where requested.
• Take ownership of bid and carry out ‘Bid Management Duties’, including liaising and coordinating with the Marketing Department over the submission document.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience as an Estimator/Senior Estimator with a similar-sized Main contractor.
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels and to work as part of a vibrant pre-construction team.
• Have previous experience working on Conquest.
