Role Overview:
The Commercial Manager will oversee the financial and contractual aspects of multiple commercial fit-out projects, ensuring profitability, client satisfaction, and timely project delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of cost management, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project finances, budgets, and cash flow.
  • Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with legal and client requirements.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cost plans.
  • Mitigate project risks and handle any disputes.
  • Lead procurement processes and manage subcontractor performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a commercial management role within the construction industry, particularly in commercial fit-out.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and project costing software.
