Job Description:

Our client based in South London are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their team working in the electronic and defence sectors.

Duties:

• Ability to write programs at the machine
• An excellent all-round knowledge of sheet metal processes.
• Ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team.
• Able understand engineering drawings.
• Able to work to a high level of precision with tight tolerances and time schedules.

To carry out general engineering duties, Including Countersinking, Fettling, Riveting & assembly.

Opportunity for the right candidate to be trained to operate an Amada CNC punching machine

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

• Extensive experience (min 3 Years)
• A good all-round knowledge of sheet metal processes.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Able to understand engineering drawings.
• Able to work to a high level of precision with tight tolerances and time schedules.

Additional Information:

• Mon-Thur 7.30 to 16.30  Fri 7.30 till 12.30 (39Hrs)                         
• 22 Days Holiday Plus Bank holidays
• Pension
