Job Description:

Robert Hurst Group Limited is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a leading manufacturing company based in Larkhall. This is a full-time, permanent position working on a day shift. 

CNC Miller Responsibilities
– Setting and operating both horizontal and vertical CNC mills with Fanuc & Yasnac controls
– Selecting correct tools, fixtures and programs for CNC machines
– Re-sealing machines for operators when required
– In cycle and final de-burring before passing on to the next stage of production
– Reading engineering drawings and programs for CNC machines
– Carry out an in-process inspection to drawing specification using a variety of measuring equipment, e.g., micrometres
– Management of programming updates and programming for new components
– Undertake other appropriate assigned duties by the Production manager

CNC Miller Requirements
– A minimum of 5 years experience within the Engineering Industry
– Knowledge of Fanuc and Yasnac systems as Heidenhain
– Experience working on horizontal & vertical CNC mills is advantageous
– Able to read and interpret engineering drawing
– Accurate numeracy skills
