Architectural Technologist/Design Coordinator
Overview:
We seek a skilled Architectural Technologist/Design Coordinator with a robust architectural background to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects concurrently, providing architectural design input, and proficiency in Revit software. This role will involve various responsibilities, including project planning, maintenance of filing systems, BIM coordination, ensuring technical accreditations, adherence to quality management systems, and effective coordination between external consultants, our in-house design team, and the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee multiple architectural projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
– Provide architectural design input, incorporating innovative and practical solutions.
– Proficiently utilize Revit software for architectural drafting and modelling.
– Conduct project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project objectives.
– Maintain organized filing systems for architectural drawings, documents, and project records.
– Coordinate BIM activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date model information.
– Ensure compliance with technical accreditations and quality management systems.
– Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between external consultants, in-house design team, and manufacturing facilities.
Requirements:
– Strong architectural background with proven experience in architectural design and coordination.
– Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Proficiency in Revit software for architectural drafting and modelling.
– Excellent project planning and organizational skills.
– Familiarity with BIM coordination and practices.
– Ability to maintain technical accreditations and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
– Effective communication and coordination skills.
– Must be local to Northampton and able to work from the office.
Salary Range: £37,000 – £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
