Air Conditioning Engineer – Norwich

We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established company.

Due to a sustainable increase in workload, we are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established Air Conditioning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a well-established company helping to deliver Planned Preventative maintenance, Servicing and Installation projects, working in various sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Defence and Research, servicing clients’ requirements throughout the Eastern Region and neighbouring counties.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Air Conditioning Manager. They will liaise directly with our clients and must ensure they always represent the business in a proud and professional manner.

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years’ experience after completing the apprenticeship, including modifying, fault finding, and installing different types of Air Conditioning systems in both commercial and industrial environments.

Contracted work hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 15:30 hrs, with occasional weekend working and overtime as required by the company. There may also be a requirement to work away on occasion.

Terms and Conditions, including Wage Rates and annual leave, will align with the BESA National Agreement.

A fully expensed Company Vehicle will also be provided for work use. You must be able to work individually, as part of a team, and without supervision on occasions, using your own initiative and demonstrating a good knowledge and understanding of the H&S requirements. Paperwork must be produced correctly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out the Installation, service, and repair of various Air Conditioning systems and installations, such as Split, Multi-Split, VRV/VRF, Chillers, and Vent Systems.

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • FGAS 2079 – (Essential)
  • CSCS/ECS card – Eligibility essential – (Already holds preferable, but training can be provided)
  • Knowledge & experience in the industrial and commercial industry
  • IPAF and PASMA – (Desirable)
  • Fire Aid – (Desirable, but training can be given)
  • Full driving licence – (Essential)
