Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to join our team, specializing in ductwork projects. The ideal candidate will have solid AutoCAD experience and a deep understanding of the HVAC/ductwork industry. This is a dynamic role involving both office-based design work and occasional site visits for surveys and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys to gather necessary measurements and information
• Create detailed manufacturing and installation drawings using AutoCAD
• Manage the day-to-day running of multiple projects from start to finish
• Liaise with suppliers to place material orders and ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate effectively with site staff and project managers to ensure smooth execution
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors as needed
• Requirements
• Proven experience in the ductwork or HVAC industry
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to visit sites as required (though predominantly office-based)
• Industry knowledge is more important than formal qualifications
