Job Description:

Experienced CNC Turner required to program, set & operate a Doosan Puma 2600 single turret lathe with C & Y Axis.

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

• Extensive CNC turning experience (min 5 Years)
• Ability to write and prove programs.
• A good all round knowledge of machining various materials.
• Ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team.
• Experience of working with small batch sizes; such as 1-10 offs.
• Able understand engineering drawings.
• Able to work to a high level of precision with tight tolerances and time schedules.

Our client based in South London are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join their team working in the electronic and defence sectors.

Duties:

• Extensive experience (min 5 Years)
• Ability to write programs at the machine
• A good all round knowledge of sheet metal processes .
• Ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team.
• Able understand engineering drawings.
• Able to work to a high level of precision with tight tolerances and time schedules.

Additional Information:

• Mon-Thur 7.30 to 16.30  Fri 7.30 till 12.30 (39Hrs)                         
• 22 Days Holiday Plus Bank holidays
