About the Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Approved Electrician to join their team and work on a range of commercial and industrial installation projects. The ideal candidate will have completed a full apprenticeship, hold the relevant qualifications, and have a strong background working in commercial or industrial environments.
This role will involve a variety of electrical installation and testing duties on secure and high-specification sites, so attention to detail and a commitment to high safety standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installations in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform testing and inspection duties to Level 3 standards
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and best practices
- Work collaboratively with other trades and teams on site
- Complete relevant documentation and test certificates
- Maintain high standards of health and safety
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Completed AM2
- ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician grade preferred)
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Test & Inspect Level 3)
- 2–3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- In-date UK passport (required for security clearance on specific sites)
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
