Mobile Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer

Our client, established in 2003, provides specialist Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) service support to the commercial building maintenance sector. With a highly skilled mobile team, they deliver reliable and professional solutions across London, Greater London, and the South of England.

They are now seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is a mobile role, responsible for electrical service, installation, testing, and maintenance across a variety of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on commercial systems.
• Undertake emergency lighting testing and power circuit installations.
• Work on controls and Building Management Systems (BMS) where required.
• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance inspections.
• Carry out service and small installation works.
• Provide clear reporting and ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification.
• At least 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of building services, including mechanical systems.
• Controls and BMS experience (advantageous).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong IT and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently with initiative as well as part of a small team.
• Flexible approach to a wide variety of work.
• Customer-facing with a professional manner.
• Keen to further develop skills and technical expertise.

Additional Information

Some of our client’s contracts involve Government departments, so successful candidates will be required to pass Home Office Security Vetting (SC clearance).
