Job Description:

My client based in Middlesbrough is looking for an HVAC Design Engineer to come on board under their HVAC team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Conduct heat load calculations, energy modelling, and system simulations.
• Design and develop HVAC systems, including equipment selection, ductwork design, and pipe sizing.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulations.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
• Assist in the coordination of HVAC installations and commissioning activities.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• AutoCAD Experience/Qualification
• Mechanical Qualification
• At least 5 year’s experience in Building Services Designing Heating, Ventilation and Air Con Systems
• HVAC calculations and site surveys
